Hayley’s Birthday Gift

Well she’s growing up so we got her a car for her birthday. It’s a little black Mazda 3. We took it up to her school the day before her birthday to really surprise her!

Nags Head

We spent eight days in a lovely oceanfront cottage for Hayley’s spring break. I think my favorite part was this amazing deck that overlooked the beach with our own little walkway down there. We had friends staying nearby as well so it was a really fun week. We saw an old college roommate of mine Kelli and then Hayley got her license!

RYLA 2016

Hayley and two of her classmates were selected for the 2016 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. They went to a Rotary meeting and then to a weekend leadership retreat with other students from across the state. We snagged a photo just before they left for the retreat.
March Madness

Hayley and I went to the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament to watch the Heels.
DC Trip

Hayley’s history class went up to DC to hear Supreme Court arguments, meet with the N.C. senators and sight-see. She and Evan took a selfie with Senator Thom Tillis. LOL
Tubing at Hawksnest

Took Hayley and Trey up to Hawksnest which had been converted to all tubing runs. I remember skiing there at night back in the day!
