Photo Gallery: Grandpa John’s retirement

Jeff’s Dad and Hayley’s Grandpa John, otherwise known as Dr. John Hillison in the real world, is retiring from VT this summer and since he told them not to give him a party, they used an annual dinner to surprise him. He didn’t know we were coming as well as his brother Rory from Ill.
Jeff, his dad, his mom, his brother, his uncle Rory and Hayley up front at his Dad’s surprise retirement party.
Grandpa John took Hayley up on stage with him for awhile which thrilled her – I think he was pretty happy too. It was a very nice night with a lot of people saying wonderful things about John.
