Genealogy notes file

This is a working ‘question’ file I’ve been keeping.MATERNAL SIDE:

FRED (Alfredo) FALCONER
Birth 18 May 1892 in Lecce, Puglia, Italy
Death 1 Nov 1976 in Chapel Hill, Orange, North Carolina

Did Fred Falconer arrive at age 10 or 16 from Italy?
Did he come over from Tuglie with his cousin Ippazio Saccomanno?
Was anyone else on that boat with them?
Was the family member left in Tuglie ‘his sister Luisa’? (FOUND NO SISTERS, maybe sister in law:
Was Fred’s brother Cesare? Did he go back to Italy? (YES, he was)
Was the family member meeting Fred and Ippazio in fact Fred’s father (Guiseppe/Joseph) who was already in the US?
What city was that on the forms? Taylor, PA? (TYLER, PA)
Why can’t I find anyone else with ties to them?
Did Guiseppe have a sister named Guiditta who was the daughter of Salvatore Falconieri and married Francesco Emmanuel Laccaria in Leece in 1891ish? Did Fransesco own land in Diso? (NO)
Who were Carl Calo and Josephine Jaskoniak (could be spelled Jaskowiak) (godparents to Jim)? (in the Tuglie records, i found a Salvatore Saccamanno who married a Marina Calo). (CARL was COSIMO CALO, also from Tuglie and Fred was his daughter’s godfather)
Who were Angelo Rych and Valentine Wisiniski (witnesses to wedding)?
Where was the marriage license granted if Pittsburgh has no records but the Iowa Diocese says the wedding was at Holy Family in Pittsburgh on April 29, 1913.

Did she really immigrate to the US in 1903?
She says she is a naturalized citizen in 1940 but I see no records. Why?
Parents? Siblings? Anything. (PARENTS – Wojciech & Franciszka (sp))
Why was Shorovitz listed in the obituary as her maiden name? Or Shore on her form for daughter’s marriage? DId her family change their name? Or error?
Where did she meet/marry Fred? Fred lists living in PA from 1908-1923 on his passport app (which was filled out in 1923) (POSSIBLY in Tyler as there was a big Polish group with the Italians)
Why was the Pittsburgh house in her name? Who was the guy living there, Joe Baci?
Why can’t I find anyone else with ties to them?
Who were Carl Calo and Josephine Jaskoniak (godparents to Jim)? (FOUND Charles Calo’s daughter and spoke to her)
Who were Angelo Rych and Valentine Wisiniski (witnesses to wedding)?
