I’m slowly getting though my photo backlog! These are photos and videos that Hayley took at the UNC Alumni Basketball game in September at UNC. We had great seats and had so much fun – seeing all the active pros was awesome but Dean and Michael Jordan just took it over the top. The unveiling of the 2009 NCAA Title banner and the addition of Jordan’s name to the Naismith Hall of Fame banner were really just amazing.

I’ll post more photos later but Hayley went as Nancy Drew for Halloween. I didn’t really take many photos as we had a party in the cul-de-sac and was really having too much fun to take pix.
Before heading out to school this morning… she’s such the cute little rebel. She had been yammering for shiny black doc martens but they don’t make the style she wanted in her small foot size but we lucked out and found them elsewhere. I should have had her pose with her new black ‘punk princess’ messenger bag. I fully expect to see her with her guitar fronting a band dressed just the same in a few years but with more snarl and less hugs 😉
We had a long day – Hayley came home from my folks, went to a birthday party, headed to our neighborhood Fall/Halloween Festival and then watched Twilight outside at the Lanes’ house on their huge projector screen. Cold but much fun!
I was helping during the festival so I didn’t take many photos.
As always, I’m taking photos of Hayley’s soccer games for the entire team. This year she is playing for the Sting, a U12 Girls challenge team with Triangle United. Her team is off to a great start, winning their first tournament, the 2009 RBC Classic.
I’m pulling out just the photos of Hayley for a separate gallery and I’ll add more to them as the season goes on.

I don’t think I got one good photo but we did have a fun time at the beach with our friend Sara and her sons. Plus we got to see our friend Jenna and her family which was great but I didn’t even get out my camera then. The kids did get to see little sharks down on the beach late at night which was very cool.
