Hayley is a ballgirl for a bunch of the UNC women’s basketball home schedule this year – at their request! She’s done two games so far already and coming home from one earlier this week, we drove by the kookiest thing on the street in Chapel Hill outside of our favorite restaurant … it was the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile.

Hayley tried out for an indoor regional soccer team with a bunch of her teammates.
Congratulations! Your future soccer star has been selected to participate with the First Touch Academy Indoor Team. The team will compete in the Indoor Regional Tournament in Owings Mills, MD on January, 2008.
I’m proud of her for trying out!

Photos from Halloween night. I didn’t take a ton of photos this year. Hayley went as Sharpay from HS Musical, but I had her put a shirt on underneath and wear practical shoes. Yeah yeah yeah, I’m a downer like that but it never really matters because she is just cute as a button all the time.

We are back from Myrtle Beach where Hayley’s team finished 2nd in the U10 group tournament, going 3-1! They even got cute trophies for second. Hayley played well and had a nice goal on Sunday afternoon.
We were right next to all the fun stuff so we went to the Hard Rock Cafe and MagiQuest, the kids played in the pool and had an ice cream sundae party. The funniest was excited they all were to be in a hotel WITH each other nearby. Four hours from home and we even ran into someone from our neighborhood playing for another team there.
After watching coach after coach SCREAM at their teams, we know for sure how lucky Hales is to be playing for Coach Dan.

Oh so close to a goal

OH MY GOSH, Hayley and I had so much fun at the Webkinz Party at Swagger Gifts today. We got to judge contests, buy webkinz at 50% off, face/arm painting with the Webkinz W, snacks, coloring and all sorts of stuff.
Hayley, myself and Mandy, the wonderful store owner, were the judges of the contests – best room, best name, most webkinz and best drawing/coloring. That is Hayley and Mandy going over rooms of drawings – those were the final group, there were over 100 rooms entered! Hayley got a Black Bear for helping and since they were 50% off ($6 for lil’kinz and $7 for kinz!) we got four of those that we’ll enter later (well except one, the lil’kinz googles which we entered already!

Hayley got to help me babysit Landon who is our friends Sara and Mike’s son. It was so fun to have a sweet baby around. Some of you might remember the photos of him in the NICU months ago. He’s happy and doing awesome now!

I finally relented and let Hayley get her ears pierced. She looks like such a young lady with her cute little posts in her ears. Never one to skip a chance to goof off, she gets a bit silly as well in these photos. This was after a game so she is a bit damp as well.
The cutest thing was she decided to get the princess cut on the stone because that is the cut my engagement ring is – as well as my mom’s engagement ring and my grandmother’s engagement ring. It was just adorable.
Just a note if any of you family members were thinking of sending her some earrings for Christmas or so … Until she is older, she is only allowed to wear post, studs or small earrings that don’t extend past her ear lobe and they must be hypo-allergenic.
She gets them out mid-November and she just picked out what she wants her first earring to wear after they come out. They are the cutest little monogrammed silver circles which will be done she is ready to take the others out.

Our webkinz blog is doing really well – it is the #1 webkinz blog according to Google and one of the top 100 english speaking blogs on WordPress. Which is all wonderful but the nicest things ever – two kids made tribute slide shows, one for the site and the other for Hayley. How adorable, smart and nice are they? Check them out!

I posted these in the gallery and thought I’d posted these on here but forgot to post them on the main site. Here are two galleries, the first of Hayley with her bdad Derek, her brothers and grandparents; the second of Hayley with Nana and Poppy, her grandparents by birth.
